END THE VACCINE DISCRIMINATION
We now live in a nation where people can be segregated and discriminated against on the basis of whether they’ve had a medical procedure that has only been provisionally approved by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration.
Right now people can be denied service in businesses if they have not been double vaccinated and, worse still, people have lost or are losing their jobs in government agencies and private corporations for not having had the COVID-19 vaccine.
This process of a government official or a private business requesting to see your medical records in order to discriminate against you is a form of apartheid that must end now.
The Australian Human Rights Commission says that the request for private medical data through some vaccine passport system “may have significant implications for privacy and autonomy, freedom of movement and association, equity and discrimination, particularly when it comes to accessing everyday goods and services.”
We need to end this invasion of our medical privacy and end the discrimination.
I have seconded a Bill in the Australian Parliament that prohibits any segregation based on COVID-19 vaccination status. You can show your support by signing the petition to abolish vaccine discrimination.
