There are many ways that you can support religious freedom:

-          Sign the petition to the Australian Government calling for the establishment of an Ambassador for Religious Freedom .

-          Support calls for Magnitsky-style legislation in Australia that would identify and sanction human rights perpetrators.

-          Informing others and speaking out. What people are unaware of, they cannot change. Every one of us can play a part in raising awareness about the persecution of people of faith. This is a humanitarian issue, so tell your friends, family, neighbours. Speak about it on your social media accounts, organise a function where a speaker can attend, talk to your local community groups and church.

-          Support organisations such as Barnabas, Open Doors. In a country like Australia, we are lucky to have the resources that can contribute to organisations that carry out work to support Christians around the globe. Various organisations do this in different ways. It could be as simple as ensuring there is Christian literature like Bibles available to those who want to read them, or the construction of churches and schools to facilitate education and training.
