Lights shine on Whitsunday moto sports project
I recently caught up with the crew at the Whitsunday Moto Sports Club outside Proserpine today to check on progress of their plans to install lights to enable night-time events.
Whitsunday Moto Sports Club will receive a Community Development Grant of $480,000 to light up their venue.
Work on Gloucester green to get rolling
Work on a new sporting facility for the Whitsunday community of Hydeaway Bay kicks off this week following approval of funding committed by the Morrison Liberal National Government in April last year.
The Gloucester Sports & Recreation Association has received $194,000 under the Community Development Grants program to build a two-lane synthetic bowling green.
