I WAS happy to announce today that students at 14 schools in my electorate are set to benefit from projects funded through the Morrison Liberal National Government’s new Local Schools Community Fund program.

There were some very grateful recipients, who will now go on to provide a range of facilities and services for their students.

I look forward to meeting with the schools individually next year to congratulate them in person and check on their progress in delivering everything from new cricket nets and refurbished libraries through to play areas and cooling fans.

This is an additional investment on top of the Coalition Government’s record funding of $310 billion for schools.
