App to help parents with children's education
AUGUST 27, 2015: Parents will appreciate the launch of an innovative new mobile app which will assist with their children’s education. Both parents and students will benefit from the Learning Potential app.It is available for free on Android and Apple devices, makes it easier for parents and carers to be part of a child’s learning, and will help them get the most out of the time spent with their child. It's packed full of helpful articles and videos that offer tips and ideas for parents to become more involved in their child’s learning.Parents’ involvement is an important part of a good education and with the strong support of school teachers and families; children can do better through their school life. The app is available for downloading from the App Store and Google Play, and I encourage all parents to check it out.The Learning Potential website also contains all of the content from the app so people who do not own a smart device can benefit from the information. The Learning Potential mobile app was launched recently by the Minister for Education and Training, the Hon Christopher Pyne MP.“This app offers inspiring ways for parents and carers to become more involved in their child’s learning, from the high chair through to high school,” Mr Pyne said.Find out more at www.australia.gov.au/learningpotential
